130,000 sqft of three storey office, technical and support accomodation arranged within a series of three interlinked buildings for around 1100 staff. The design exploits the beautiful mature woodland setting, with the layout maximising external awareness with views into the adjoining landscape. The building was awarded both the National and Regional BCO Corporate Commercial Workplace Awards in 2005.
Flexibilty, interaction and creativity are the central themes of the design. The open environment enhances communications and promotes corporate values of safety, efficiency and transparency in a contemporary and comfortable environment.
The relocation involved moving 760 staff from various UK locations into the new "campus" style facility. Introducing new ways of working, the office was derived from the concept 'one size fits all'.
