A new build project for the National Air Traffic Service adjacent to three existing buildings, all linked by way of connecting walkways.
The ground floors were designed primarily as equipment rooms and the first floors were general office areas, with central meeting places and feature breakout and teapoint areas.
The second floor consists of simulator training rooms where air traffic control students are trained. The simulator rooms were designed to the exact specification of an air traffic control centre. These rooms are used as a working control room in the event of an emergency at the main air traffic control centre at nearby Swanwick.
