Ntgrate Woven Vinyl Takes to the Catwalk
Our Ntgrate woven vinyl is giving one of fashion’s biggest online retailers, Net-A-Porter, beautiful and resilient pathway, breakout and circulation area flooring.
Home to the global fashion retailer’s technology teams, the Yoox Net-A-Porter Technology Centre covers 70,000ft2 of office space for 500 staff. Part of the redevelopment of the BBC Media Works building at London’s White City, the centre was designed by leading architects, Grimshaw, with Ntgrate Gentle woven vinyl tiles forming part of a space that embraces architectural values of adaptability, flexibility and sustainability.
Ntgrate Gentle woven vinyl tiles are made from high-performance vinyl, using state-of-the-art weaving machinery to produce a floor that delivers a strong textural aesthetic with excellent wear performance and easy maintenance. These features made it ideal for use in main atrium pathways, breakout and circulation areas; all places where footfall is likely to be high. Grimshaw opted for Gentle Remi tiles, a subtle linear patterned texture in grey. Class 33 Heavy Contract rated, Gentle Remi, like all Ntgrate woven flooring is available in tile and sheet formats.
The woven texture of Ntgrate echoes the ‘warp and weft’ approach to the layout and materials used in the centre. Comfortable seating sits naturally amongst formal meeting spaces and innovation rooms; timber, concrete, velvet, leather, felt and bronze intermingling with one another for a luxurious and refined feel.
In total 900 square metres of Ntgrate Gentle in Remi where used throughout the Yoox Net-A-Porter Technology Centre, supplied and installed by O’Sullivan flooring.
