Introducing Scape, our new biophilic carpet collection

Inspired by nature and made from recycled materials, Scape is the new collection from Quadrant.

The Scape collection has been designed to mimic the dramatic Rockscapes and organic Treescapes that lend their names to its nine patterns and shades. These natural structures have been beautifully interpreted in these stunning carpet tiles, bringing the collection in tune with the core principles of biophilic design.

Biophilic design is the practice of connecting a building or interior with our organic surroundings, focusing on the aspects of nature that have, over time, contributed to our health and wellbeing. When applied to the workplace, this is proven to have a positive effect on health and productivity, improving feelings of wellbeing while reducing absenteeism.

Rich in texture, the complex patterns and clear, crisp textures of Scape are created using state-of-the-art tufting equipment. This innovative production controls the exact placement and height of every tuft, producing higher durability and giving each product a distinctive look and feel.

For the yarn we use Econyl, a regenerated nylon made from fishing nets from the ocean, fabric scraps from mills and carpets destined for landfill. Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity and processed into carpet yarn and textile yarn. Looking to the future, ECONYL® yarn has the potential to be recycled, recreated and remoulded infinitely.
