The team at Quadrant is committed to managing our environmental impact on every level, and as such we place as much importance on resolving the minor issues as we do on major environmental initiatives. Throughout our operations we have focused on reducing the amount of paper we use, by redesigning reports and summaries, by providing literature and order-related paperwork in electronic format and by encouraging employees to print only what is absolutely necessary.
We have re-specified most of our pre-printed stationery and sample packaging materials so that it is produced from 100% recycled stock, so that by the summer of 2007 we anticipate the vast majority of our paper-based consumables will be made from recycled material and will be recyclable.
Our waste management policy has also been improved to ensure that we minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill. All paper, board, plastics, wood, obsolete electronic equipment, printer cartridges and unwanted carpet is disposed of responsibly.
