Every day we send out folders and carpet samples to our many customers, and we have been implementing ways to minimise the environmental impact of this operation.
Our latest product folders have been designed to minimise the use of unnecessary materials, so wherever possible we keep them to 2 pages and use no plastic trays or complicated foldouts. All samples are packed using 100% recycled and recyclable packaging and most of the carpet used to make up the folders is taken from either dedicated sample productions or production rejects.
Whilst we cannot control what happens to our samples once they have been despatched we are committed to helping our customers dispose of obsolete items in an environmentally respectful manner, and have recently implemented a sample collection service that enables us to recycle or reuse wherever possible, and to avoid landfilling as much sample waste as possible, with the added benefit to our customers of keeping their libraries tidy and up-to-date.
