Actively working to reduce CO2 emissions from company cars is a major challenge for business and one that is all too easy to put on the back burner.
2008 sees two thirds of Quadrant's car fleet renewed, providing an ideal opportunity to further reduce our carbon footprint. Our new company car policy now requires all new vehicles to have a lower, or at the very least, an equivalent CO2 rating as the vehicle being replaced. Quadrant is committed to reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere wherever possible and this initiative has already resulted in a 19% fall in the average CO2 emitted from each vehicle.
A prime example is the BMW 118d, recently voted "2008 World Green Car of the Year" belonging to Quadrant's MD James Scully, boasting a CO2 rating of just 119 g/km.
