Demonstrating flooring depth at Integro

Our carpet tiles, planks and woven vinyl flooring have transformed the London offices of insurance broker, Integro, used by Resonate Interiors to help create a bright and contemporary working environment.

With a brief for an open plan concept that allows teams and staff to be agile and supported, Resonate Interiors turned to us to supply flooring solutions that could work to meet this need, while complementing with the concrete chilled beams and glazed facades that inspired the interior design.

In working spaces, carpet tiles dominate, providing underfoot comfort and acoustic absorption along with long-term wear resistance thanks to a high-quality 12th gauge construction. The organic shapes and distressed linear motif of SYNERGY carpet tiles in Sonic Grey add a dynamic spirit beneath desks and in meeting rooms, while the minimal elegance of ELEMENTS in Pebble contrasts for walkways.

Elsewhere, cut-pile SHIMMER MOONLIT carpet planks, working as area rugs, add luxury beneath relaxed seating in striking purple velvet. Our influence is rounded out with woven vinyl, BRAVE tiles in Sam selectively used to add elegant textural pattern with the ease of maintenance and durability of vinyl.

The dark floor works alongside plants and a bold use colour and pops of texture throughout the building, as well as uniting carefully sourced surfaces such as recycled sparkling stone in the communal breakout lounge and marble desk in the reception. With a long stone bar in the client lounge and the backlit logo wall in the reception, this is an interior that will encourage the business to flourish and grow well into the next decade.

Integro is located in a 4,180m2 office at 71 Fenchurch Street, London. Seeing staff congregating from a variety of locations, the new office is defined by existing buildings on two sides – including a Grade II listed building constructed for Lloyd’s Register in 1901. Highly transparent glazing animates the office’s exterior, while also forming an integrated heating and cooling system that achieves a reduction in CO2 emissions over conventional air conditioning.

In terms of carpeting for the offices; a total of 2,380m2 of Synergy Sonic Grey, 480m2 of Elements Pebble, 192m2 of Shimmer Moonlit and 140m2 Zephyr Helitrope were specified by Resonate Interiors. A total of 68m2 of Brave Sam was used to bring the sophisticated yet practical texture of woven vinyl.
