Sustainable & high-spec: Our Cork Resist+ collection
Quadrant is delighted to launch a new range of cork flooring that combines style, function, and sustainability. The 18 patterns and shades organically align with biophilic design principles and offer phenomenal specs, including an unbeatable sustainability record. Made in Portugal by global market leader Amorim, the planks are made from the bark of local trees, developed in an eco-sustainable process. Not only are cork trees neither cut nor felled, but their bark regenerates and can be extracted every nine years. This regular, cyclical process contributes to environmental, economic and social sustainability in the region.
Cork’s natural properties make it optimal for commercial design projects. Reducing walking sound by 53%, its flexibility maximises comfort with every step. And with a natural honeycomb structure, 50% of the volume is air, making cork planks both lightweight and thermally insulating. They’ve also had a tough UV resistant acrylic finish applied for heavy commercial use.
Our corkiest range has the naturally random patterns and organic textures you’d typically associate with cork.
Finished with a neutral colour-wash, Corkrete has all the benefits of cork with a sleeker, more ambiguous appearance.
These three visually striking products form the Novel Collection and offer the natural cork look in stylish, geometric patterns.
